Love the Low Profile Design and Easy Install
We are putting these light into our old house with a low ceiling clearance; so we are happy to find the low profile height. We also have a house fan so we decided on the can option, instead of the canless, for a tighter seal. The circle template was very helpful; but we did need to get a proper size hole saw (purchased from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CN5BVVB2?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1). Once we marked the pilot holes, positioned the frame on the ceiling, the install time (cut the hole, put the can in the hole, drill down the frame) for each light is about 10-15 minutes. We purchased the Baffle trims (from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096GSQYHQ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1) that fit perfectly.

Fits 2×6 ceilings
These fit well in a 2×6 ceiling. There’s about 1/4-1/2 inch of space between the top of the light and the top of the 2×6. I’m still in the install phase of my remodel so I can’t say for sure how well they operate, but I feel like that will be determined more by the trim used than the housing itself.

Great little cans.
These 4″ cans are easy to install and cheap enough to use lots of them. I started using these paired with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082F3DYKG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title (Torchstar gimble spot lights) on all my projects. The combination is fantastic for lighting up the walls and work areas without having any direct glare in your eyes.

I usually install other brand. But got these. And very happy with them. I used these in the basement rafters. They get a little warm. But no more then other ic cans

Great lights
Only gave them 3 stars because 2 were damaged in shipping had to do some work on them to fix them so they would work. Other than that the worked great for our basement. Easy to install locking screw on rail to lock them in place stripped out on 5 of the 8.
