Gorgeous and much brighter than most of this size. But after an hour they go dim. I simply turn them off and back on again. A bother but so beautiful at their brightest. Hope they can be upgraded to have remote.

Forget trying to change the batteries
They are very pretty, but battery life is very short, and so far I’ve tried to change the batteries in 2 of them and the on/off switch just falls off and there’s no way to re-attach it. Probably fine for a 1-night event, but not for what I wanted.

Classy looking, but a bit deceiving.
I was thinking about giving these tea lights a two-star rating. They start off very, very bright. They are kind of odd, actually. They don’t flicker, but I knew that from the reviews. In a short period of time, their luminosity decreased substantially. The strong point is, though lightweight plastic, they appear crystalline to the eye like mini crystal shot glasses. The look is right, but the lighting is not something I am going to count on. They are classy, yes, good for soirées, weddings, and other nighttime formal, or intimate, occasions, but I don’t know how long they will last (I just bought them) and already they are dimming given the rapid decrease in luminosity. Also, the photo of these tea lights is deceiving. The are two inches high, not three. If they kept their strength in light, which starts off with quite a bang, I would have given four stars, as I do quite like the design.
