My young little great-niece, 9 or 10, sure was surprised to get this when she came to the farm last summer. I was looking for something that wasn’t a toy but were real tools, yet also might fit her smaller hands. All the tools were perfect, although I removed the box cutter and gave to her dad to be added back to the tool bag when she is a little older. It was fun to have her work with her great aunt and have her own tools. After returning home I asked her a few months later if she had used any of her tools and she proudly told me she had helped her dad when he had called for her and told her to bring her tool bag!

Great for a first set of tools for a teen or young adult. It has what you need to do basic work around the house and is decent quality for the cost.

Fine for a “Basic” set of tools – just lower your expectations
The bag is pretty small – like everything fits, but if you add to your set, the bag has very little room for it.The tape measure is trash, so that will need to be replaced right away.I spent easily another $60 to buy things that this set did not include … boo hoo, my personal first-world problem – but my point is this set is quite basic and missing some important tools.Works as a starting point – just lower your expectations … these are cheap and won’t last much hard use.
