Fossil display
Perfect to display fossils and keep dust out. Does have a hinge. I placed a rolled towel under the block to angle further, which didn’t work great with lighter (smaller) shark teeth, but perfect for Megaledon, etc..

Tempered-Glass Top Wooden Display Case
I’m using this to display some nes and atari cartridges and they fit perfect in this, the black velvet backing makes the items pop and the woodgrain adds to the look that the items inside are precious. The hinges on the back and the latch on the front do stick out if you wanted to lay it that way, comes with a wooden block to attach to the back so the box will be titled.

I truly love this brand. This case is so nice and well made. It comes with a super soft, thick velvet liner so you can place your fragile pieces inside and without it touching the wooden area.

Pros and cons, but more “pros”!
At first glance, this seems like attractive jewelry display case for my higher end pieces. It’s a nice size and I like that the glass is tempered, so I shouldn’t have any trouble with it shattering if broken.The color is nicer than others I’ve seen, but I wish it was varnished. It would look (at least) 10x nicer with smoother wood with a slight gloss. (I’ll probably add that myself.)The wood piece that holds the case SEEMS like a good idea, since the product inside the case can more easily be seen. Just don’t plan on opening the case to show anything that’s inside! The lid will tip the case over backwards! You can, however, also display the case flat with the lid open if you choose to. However, my plan was to add an extra step for anybody thinking to steal my nicer products. Having them in a closed case makes them harder to steal, especially if I turn it so that the clasp faces the back of the table so that I have to open it.The black velvet insert fits nicely, but it doesn’t have any way to attach anything to it.Overall, this glass top case is adequate for the price, and with just a little bit of work, I believe that it could become very nice!

Larger than you expect.
This box holds a good bit of jewelry. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how much. This in combination with the smaller version will hold most if not all of your jewelry if you are a man. The material is light but well built.
