A+ Great for those employees that never seem to bring or to return your utilitie knifes
These are pretty good and considering the price these are great. I like the fact that they are retractable yet you can lock the blade extended by pushing the slider button a little bit further out.I bought these because I manage a retail store and the location I am temporarily at does not have any safety box cutters and we are only able to order 3 per week (which usually get lost within a day or 2) So I bought these for all of the employees to use them discard when they are dull. I put these on a retractable leash so they are always handy and do not get set down on a shelf where customers especially children have access to them.The only con is that they are not ergonomic at all but that’s to be expected considering how small they are.

Best cutter ever
I had one of these cutters for 18 years and it finally went dull. I was happy to find they were still in production because it’s my favorite type of cutter. easy to handle, blade retracts when you take your thumb off of the switch. Small and take little or no space. I bought several so I could have then everywhere I might need them, in purse, in car, in garage, everywhere. Though it’s so small you could just carry it in your pocket or on your keychain.

Not the quality I was hoping for…
You would think for such a simple item there wouldn’t be much issue with quality control. I have had these before but always purchased them one at a time from a display at the hardware store, usually near the key chain displays. Hardware stores don’t seem to carry them any longer. So I finally gave in and bought a whole bag (12) of them to replace the one I used to have (and used a lot). These are cheaply made and not of comparable quality. I wanted one that would leave the blade deployed or retracted with a simple thumb mechanism; most of those advertised have a spring loaded blade that only stays out as long as you hold your thumb on the slide. Well, these will stay deployed if you can push hard enough on the slide button but that is nearly impossible and then you have to really struggle to retract the blade again. And one of the Ram-Pro Mini Retractable Utility Snap-Off Pocket Knives had a little steel thing protruding through the seams of the plastic case (a steel spring, maybe?) which would jab you good if you tried to use it. Given these issues, I decided to return the package and spend a little more (lot more) on one of the high quality mini-boxcutters. Not recommended. Hope this helps!

Get them before you move!
Grab a package of these before you move so that when you’re unpacking you have one in every room! They made life so much easier! They lock open but then retract and are small enough to fit in your pocket and you can still bend over unlike long skinny cutters.

Blade at wrong angle
It has a really good blade, but the overall size is a little small, making it so the blade is kind of at the wrong angle to push out, so they stick a bit. I wear a women’s medium (size 7); It’s decent for a person with very small hands.I bought one a few years ago that were just a tiny bit larger, and it was great.
